醫院評鑑暨醫療品質策進會
Dear colleagues,
It is my greatest pleasure to give the welcome remarks for this wonderful event.
As you may know, medication errors account for more than 40% of medical adverse events, as so reduction of medication error is one of the most rewarding patient safety tasks.
For nearly 2 decades, Taiwan's hospitals have dedicated to improving medication safety. We've learned how to handle the high risk medicine in clinical settings, embed alert or warning algorithm in hospital information system, and also to prevent medication delivery error through relentless education.
I am pleased to see that many hospitals in Taiwan have introduced automation or computation technologies in their medication management. I am sure this program must be very attractive.
I wish the best of this conference and hope you all to enjoy the richness of its content.
Thank you.
